Great Summary of 3D Printing in Architecture to date!!


This article, is an amazing summary of the application of 3D printing in architecture! It starts with the first 3D printed house design, referred to as the Landscape House, by Dutch architect Janjaap Ruijssenaars, introduces the ‘Kamermaker’ a 3D printer by DUS Architects and their design for their 3D printed ‘Canal House’. Further, it mentions Foster & Partner’s proposal for a moon base created by the additive manufacturing process and talks about future prospects by Softkill Design and Mediated Matter.
